Privacy Policy

Effective September 27, 2026

Setbreak is an app for keeping track of the concerts you've been to and the ones you're going to. This policy explains what information Setbreak collects, how it's used, who can see it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email support@setbreak.band.

The short version: we collect what you need to use the app, we don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

Account information

You sign in to Setbreak with Apple or Google. We don't have passwords. When you sign in, we receive your email address and, depending on what you allow, your name and profile photo from that provider. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email" option, we receive a private relay address instead of your real email.

Profile information

You choose a username and display name, and you can add a profile photo.

Content you add

Camera and photo library

Setbreak asks for access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a photo or video. Only the items you pick are uploaded. You can change these permissions in your device settings at any time.

What we don't collect

Setbreak doesn't access your device's location, contacts, or microphone. The concert map places pins at the venues of your shows, not at your location. The app doesn't include advertising or third-party analytics or tracking tools.

Technical information

Like most online services, our hosting providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, request times, and error details) to operate the service and keep it secure. The app also stores your sign-in session on your device so you stay signed in.

How we use your information

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Who can see your information

Photos, videos, and ticket photos are stored privately and are only available through short-lived, signed links to people who have access to them.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run Setbreak. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the service.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings › Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, profile, friendships, the photos and videos you've uploaded, your place on other people's concerts, and any concerts you created (including for the other people on them). If you signed in with Apple, it also revokes Setbreak's access to your Apple ID. Tickets you bought for others on their concerts stay on those concerts, no longer linked to you. Server logs are deleted on their normal schedule.

If you can't access the app, email support@setbreak.band and we'll delete your account for you.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile and content in the app at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing support@setbreak.band. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor those requests.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access rules that limit each user to the data they're allowed to see, and private file storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will let you know if a breach affects you as required by law.

Children

Setbreak isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app.
